Vehicle Description
2015 Ford Mustang GT - GT Performance Package - 5.0L V8 - 6 Speed
Manual Transmission - Guard Metallic Green - Black Interior -
Recaro Bucket Seats - 23k Miles As an icon of the American pony
car, the Ford Mustang has been a staple of automotive culture since
its debut in 1964. Originally predicted to sell 100,000 vehicles
yearly, the 1965 Ford Mustang became the most successful vehicle
launch since the 1927 Ford Model A. The success of the Mustang
launch led to multiple competitors from other American
manufacturers, including the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird,
AMC Javelin, and Dodge Challenger. The Mustang also influenced
designs of coupes worldwide. Through its production, multiple
nameplates have been associated with the Ford Mustang series,
including GT, Mach I, Boss 302/429, Cobra (separate from Shelby
Cobra), and Bullitt, along with 5.0 fender badging. The sixth
generation Mustang is the current iteration of the pony car
manufactured by Ford. The new Mustang was introduced as a 2015
model year vehicle, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Ford
Mustang, which was revealed as a 1965 model year vehicle on April
17, 1964. Development of the 2015 Mustang, codenamed S550, began in
2009 under chief engineer Dave Pericak and exterior design director
Joel Piaskowski, shortly after the updated 2010 model year Mustang
went on sale. At launch, three engines were available: a 3.7 L V6
(codenamed Cyclone), a 2.3 L turbocharged I4 (EcoBoost), or a 5.0L
modular V8 (Coyote). Highlighted here is a 2015 Ford Mustang GT
that is one wild pony. Painted in a Guard Metallic Green and
situated on black spoke wheels, this Mustang has all the muscular
lines of a true sportscar while maintaining the classic style that
Mustangs are known for. Additional black accents include the grille
and other components of the front fascia. Unlike previous versions
of the Mustang, this example has no exterior chrome, giving this
beast of a vehicle an even more aggressive physical prowess. Inside
the cabin, all passengers are met with black leather and carbon
fiber accents. Updated with Recaro front buckets, this coupe is
ready to put some power onto any roadway. A mixture of traditional
analog and digital gauges keeps the driver informed about any
particulars that this Mustang might have. A large central control
screen houses the entertainment and climate systems while there are
various controls right on the wheel for ease of the driver. As a
final touch, this coupe also includes Mustang branded rubber floor
mats. Under the hood, this Mustang is powered by a 5.0L V8 that is
complimented by a 6-speed manual transmission and GT Performance
Package. While we could get into the technical specifications of
this powerful motor, we will leave those details at the starting
line which is where any competitor of this vehicle will remain.
Noted with 23k miles on the odometer, this Mustang has truly only
started its journey of life. Loaded with innovative technologies
and delivering world class levels of performance, this version of
the Ford Mustang inspires passion unlike any other vehicle in its
class. The visceral look, sound and performance of the Mustang
resonates with people, even if they have never driven one.
Retaining all the definitive iconography of the first Ford Mustang,
this 2015 model is a classic in all ways. We encourage you to check
