Vehicle Description
When you turn a barn find into a restomod, you want to really make
it a great car to show off everywhere. That's why this 1937 Ford
Club Coupe Restomod comes with fuel-injected V8 power, an overdrive
transmission, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a
leather-lined A/C interior, and much more.
The story we're told on this one is that it's a southern barn find
from the late 1990s that was then restored/transformed into the
terrific mix of style and substance you see today. The dark red
paint has a nice boldness and depth. It's a color borrowed from the
Volvo color palette, and so it gives this the look of sturdy and
sophisticated. You want a good look to this car because it's a
pre-war all-steel vehicle. You can also tell it's made for more
than just vintage fun. It has the right street machine style with
an updated grille, tinted windows, and the 15-inch American Racing
Torq Thrust wheels with a nice sporty stance. And the full-length
tan pinstripe loves to highlight the straightness of the panels
while also providing a preview of the interior.
The full tan interior takes this 85-year-old classic and brings it
into the modern age. The bucket seats up front have the kind of
bolstering that will make you happy to cruise all day. That's
because these are modern Lexus pieces finished in supple leather.
The rear seat is also upgraded to match. Plus, the tan dash,
headliner, carpets, custom door panels, and trunk create a
well-coordinated package. They made sure this is a comfortable
place for everyone to spend some time with cold-blowing air
conditioning, cup holders, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with remote.
Plus, this proves it's a true driver's machine with a banjo-style
steering wheel on a tilt column and a dash dominated by clean
classic instruments gauges.
The ultra-smooth engine bay has a custom engine topper that
includes the classic Ford V8 symbol...and this one certainly earns
that. This has the modern 4.6-liter Modular V8 engine. This has
earned a reputation for providing power for everything from
Mustangs to Town Cars. In fact, this was borrowed from a Lincoln,
and so it gives you a great mix of fuel-injected power that was
engineered to be delivered smoothly. It makes for a confident
cruiser, especially when you look underneath. This is now riding on
a strong Vision Street Rod chassis, and there's a tubular A-arm
front end and a rear sway bar. This is a package that is made to be
every day easy, and that's why you also have four-wheel power disc
brakes, rack & pinion power steering, and a four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
This is the fuel-injected restomod that's ready for everything from
car shows to the Power Tour. So if you want it all, don't let this
one slip away. Call today!!!
