1992 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II – One of 1152 made
Excellent all-original left-hand driver 1992 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II with the factory 6.8-liter 8-cylinder engine and 4-speed automatic transmission and with only 071942 kilometers on the odometer. The car retains its original blue paint and desirable white leather interior. The original service manual and literature are included in the sale.
The car is out of long-term Danish ownership and has Danish papers and registration. The vehicle passed the Danish Technical Inspection (MOT/TUV/Syn) in June 2022 and will not be inspected until 2030. A complete inspection and service confirm that the car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and can be enjoyed for many years.
The Silver Spur II was introduced at the 1989 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Silver Spur II introduced "Automatic Ride Control", a fully automatic system that adjusted dampers at all four wheels in real-time. Other updates included the adoption of ABS and fuel injection as standard. A four-speed transmission (the GM 4L80E) was introduced in the winter of 1991. The size of the petrol tank was also increased, up to 107 liters, meaning that the car's range was now up to well over 500 km (311 mi). Exterior and interior changes were minimal, with a considerably smaller steering wheel and two additional ventilation outlets added to the fascia, mildly modernizing the look up front.
