1963 Austin Healey 3000 MKII BJ7 for sale! Motorcar Classics is
proud to present this stunning 1963 Austin Healey 3000 MKII BJ7
Roadster featured in Colorado Red with black interior piped red and
black convertible top. Introduced in 1959, the Austin Healey 3000
included front disc brakes and a 124-hp 2,912cc straight-six.
Available in two and four-seat versions, almost 14,000 were sold
before it was replaced with the 3000 MkII in 1961. Late in 1962,
the two-seater was dropped, roll-up windows were introduced and the
revised twin carburetors added 2 horsepower. With its delightful
exhaust note, 4 speed gearbox with eclectic overdrive, and
responsive motor, the BJ7 strikes a balance between sporting
performance and comfortable touring that makes these Big Healeys so
popular as collector cars. Our car has been meticulously restored,
nut and bolt, to very high standards. It features a nicely detailed
engine compartment, suspension, and undercarriage. The fully
rebuilt mechanicals are strong and reliable. A great deal of effort
went into getting the stance just right, and it looks perfect from
any angle. Upgrades include chromed wire wheels fitted with
Vreedstein 165HR-15 radials, chrome badge bar, and Lucas fog lamps.
Among the nicest we have offered, this Big Healey is ready to drive
and to be shown with pride.
