1959 Ford Custom 300, 2 door Sedan. VIN: A9AG189841. Original 223ci inline 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission (column shift). Runs great. Drives well. Has manual steering and manual drum brakes. It does not have an air-conditioner, but it does have a heater that works. Two-tone turquoise and white paint. The paint is older and shines ok but does have chips and scratches. The body is pretty solid overall. There is a very small amount of rust in the rear floorboard area, nothing to be concerned with. The doors open and shut well and the windows roll up and down smoothly. The interior is in good condition, no rips or tears. This car would fit in at a Cars and Coffee event or a local show but it's not a show car. It is an eye-catching classic and does get attention. It starts right up every time and is a dependable car. The previous owner was driving it daily to work. Has a new battery and I just upgraded all 4 headlights to Halogen. All lights and turn signals work, even the interior dome light. The original AM radio comes on but just has static. The vacuum-operated windshield wipers do not work. The 15" radial tires have deep tread but they are several years old. The 5 digit odometer shows 31,695, you can assume that it has 131k miles. It is difficult to find any classic car in this price range, especially a 2 door that's not a project.
