Vehicle Description
This 1941 Chevrolet Pickup streetrod is the awesome kind of build
that impresses with its well-done mix of classic and custom. That
means a cool look as the sunshine reveals the subtle two-tone out
on the streets, and in fact, it's easy to take out on sunny days
because this V8-powered pickup has a comfy A/C interior.
This shade of blue is quite nice because it's both dark and
sophisticated. In fact, in some lights, this truck looks all black.
But when the sunshine hits the classic sheet metal, there's a
metallic pop from the blue that separates itself from the black
fenders and running boards. It's like a secret two-tone that you
choose to reveal when you take it out for a drive. And as a
genuinely upgraded street rod, this one loves to be on the road.
After all, those upgraded US Mags wheels give this one the upgraded
tires and stance of a far better driver than any pre-WWII machine.
Plus, details like the full pinstriping, black wood bed, chrome
bumpers, and shining art deco grille are all pieces that deserve to
be out there and seen by everyone.
The interior is a thoughtfully upgraded package. The dual bucket
seats mean it's easy for you and a passenger to get comfortable in
here. And they even installed R134a air conditioning. But it also
becomes apparent that this build is all about the driver. A crisp
white-faced gauge package dominates the dash. You've got a grippy
woodgrain sport steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, and the
tall floor shifter is calling for your right hand.
Butterfly hoods always draw a crowd, and this one showcases plenty
of V8 power stuffed inside. It's a 350 cubic-inch V8, and it has
the right pieces you want for a quality cruiser, like a four-barrel
carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fan. And the dual
exhaust sings quite a sweet V8 tune. Underneath this pickup, you'll
spot terrific upgrades, like a Mustang II-style front end with
tubular lower control arms and rack & pinion power steering. A
three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, front discs, and
wide modern tires make for a solid driving package.
This is a true custom classic that was made to be driven and shown
off. So don't let this iconic and upgraded pre-war Chevy pickup
slip away. Call now!
