Vehicle Description
This 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Streetrod coupe is a very cool
blend of vintage and new. You know that the moment you see the
classic lines in a more modern matte finish. And when you add in
the upgraded A/C interior, V8 power, and nice-riding suspension,
you realize this is a terrific cruising classic.
The graceful fender curves, torpedo-like headlights, two-piece
windshield, rounded chrome bumpers, and art deco grille are all
part of the cool/classic Chevy style. These are the long flowing
lines that we all knew could own the road. But this one also adds a
more modern flair than many other custom pre-WWII Chevys. The matte
blue paint looks like it was borrowed from one of those new BMW
"Frozen" hues. So it doesn't need extra stripes or body chrome to
get attention. Instead, the largest brightwork is reserved for the
17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. And that larger size
means there's a long list of modern tires that fit on this
classic.
The full package has been built to take the coupe's vintage style
and give you comfortable upgrades. It starts with the classic split
bench in comfy cloth, and the pink piping is a nice touch. The rear
seats and doors have also been done with a similar cloth padding
for a uniform style. Added comfort also means nice upgrades like
cold-blowing air conditioning, tinted windows, and a speaker system
ready for the radio of your choice. Best of all, it knows how to
cater directly to the driver with an Ididit tilt steering column, a
banjo-style sports steering wheel, and a dash dominated by crisp
VDO gauges.
You know you love the way it looks with both sides of the butterfly
hood up. There's even some added polish on the motor to make sure
what's inside looks nice, too. Plus, cruising is easy with an
upgraded 350 cubic-inch V8 that also features an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock aluminum intake. There are
even good supporting pieces, like a serpentine setup, an electric
fan, and the battery moved to the trunk. We love how this one fires
up eagerly, and the tune from the chambered dual exhaust is
hypnotic. A car like this was made to be a terrific cruiser. You
have upgrades like a three-speed automatic transmission, power
front disc brakes, and a Mustang II-style front end with tubular
A-arms and power steering.
This classic Chevy may have pre-war sheet metal, but it eats up the
miles like a much more modern cruiser (it was driven multiple hours
to this showroom.) So if you want something distinct, fun, and
road-ready, this is the one. Call now!
