Chevelle SS Coupe is a showstopper in Fathom Blue Metallic with an
Ivory Interior. Powered by the rare factory 396-402 CID 4 Barrel V8
offering 350hp and 415ft-lbs of torque matched to a 4 Speed Manual
transmission with white queue ball shifter for that
power-in-your-palm feel. Everyone knows the look of these classic
Chevelles, and this one is exceptional with the Cowl Induction hood
with hood pins, shiny chrome, and a muscle car look. The broad
white painted rally stripes, straight body lines, new vinyl white
top, SS badges, and trim appear new. They indicate a highly
professional restoration, and the paint is a cut above a factory
finish. Inside and out, everything is well-fitted and in excellent
mechanical condition. A private inspection reveals this 1970
Chevelle SS to score an Excellent. The rare numbers matching
Factory 396-402 CID 4 Barrel V8 shows off chromed accents
throughout, an Edelbrock Performer Dual intake, and very good
original condition exhaust manifolds. The air cleaner, power
steering pump, and alternator appear new or refinished with
period-correct markings and labels. A vintage Sanden-style A/C
compressor is present, and the remaining components are original or
correct styled reproductions. The engine compartment is nicely
refinished with the correct colors and is in excellent condition.
The chassis has been restored/refinished with no leaks or seepage,
and the rear is upgraded with a Hotchkis Suspension and rides on BF
Goodrich Radial T/A tires wrapped on Super Sport wheels with power
front disc brakes. Inside our SS, the Ivory interior is in
excellent condition and well fitted, from the brightwork chrome
trim down to the pedals, shifter, and door sills. Dash pad and
headliner are excellent, as are the steering wheel and sharp
instrument faces and lenses. A vintage style digital radio along
with a Pyle sound system with rear shelf speakers is installed. In
the back, the trunk lid has the correct decals, and the trunk mat
is correct and in new condition. Sit back in the ivory vinyl
seating surfaces and bask in the classic power you feel under your
