Vehicle Description
This 1948 Studebaker Commander coupe is a very rare survivor from a
period when the company was still a major manufacturer. It is a
face-lift version of the radically styled cars Studebaker
introduced post WWII, and it is equipped with lots of period
accessories and charm. Having been owned by a long-time Studebaker
Club member, it has been well-restored to high-level driver
condition. Attractively finished in grey with burgundy and grey
interior, the car features Studebaker's flathead 6-cylinder engine
and 3-speed transmission mounted on the column. Equipped with the
original Motorola radio, it is also accessorized with a sunvisor,
spotlight, and StudebakerClimatizer heating system. This one
features 92,000 original miles and drives excellent. With
Studebakers of this condition becoming much harder to find at a
reasonable price, this one will not last very long.
