Vehicle Description
1932 Ford 2-Door Sedan
The 1932 Ford 3-window coupe is THE hot rod. There are others, but
most hot rods today can trace their histories back to the '32 Ford
3-window coupe, and they're as popular today as they ever were.
This striking Ford has the right stance, the right profile, and the
right hardware to make it look traditional, but all the creature
comforts to which we've become accustomed, so it's also easy to
enjoy. The body is all steel, and after looking at this slick sedan
you'll realize that it's straight and true with just a few minor
faults. Plenty of new metal for the running boards and nice paint.
And we guarantee that it'll stand out at the next cruise night.
Exterior
Awesome red metallic and this car's exterior is looking hot..uh, I
mean cool,..uh I mean hot! A mounted fender and running board car,
all in menacing metallic red. These fenders frame pristine 14 inch
chromed wire wheels on all 4 corners with 185/70R14's on front, and
larger 225/70R14's on back. A vertical ribbed radiator covering
cowl with chromed front has a curved bar running in front with the
nifty Ford V8 logo in its center. They skipped the side cowlings
but up front this '32's beautiful mill stands out amidst all the
red. The passenger cabin is truly 32 with a single door on each
side and a large rear passenger area. The bodywork dives downward
on the back where it meets the fuel tank and a curved shiny bumper
is below. The engine can be heard by standing at the side and
listening to the ear candy produced by the 3.0" rear exit chromed
pipes, sounding just like a church organ! Well...
Interior
Bird is the word...actually it's a nice tweed broadcloth in medium
gray. When flipping open the doors one can just feel the warmth on
your cockles, as your eyes scan the molded panels with small red
accent and billet style knobs and cranks, and the door actuator.
Inside floating in a sea of gray carpeting with some red accenting,
which is wonderfully clean, are 2 low back stitched tweed buckets
with nice sturdy bolsters and some tuck and roll in the center.
These are fronted by a full metal jacket body matching red painted
dash with a lineup of classic cream VDO round gauges in a centrally
located aluminum panel with more of the V8 badging and some
horizontal ribs. On top of a chromed tilt column with billet
levers, is an NRG rally wood steering wheel. An AM/FM/CD stereo is
hanging below the dash within a custom made wrapped gray box. In
back, a squared broadcloth covered tweed bench stretches from side
to side and there is plenty of rear passenger room. The headliner
is gray tweed, and has some molded embossing with more red
accenting.
Drivetrain
A 350ci V8 crate motor topped with a 4 barrel carburetor throws
power back to a 3 speed TH350 automatic. With this setup you are
ready to heat up those bigs in the rear, and blow through some
fossils, while making some noise. Beautifully chromed valve
coverings and additional chrome bolt ons, some ribbed stainless
hoses, and all I can say is Wow!!
Undercarriage
Let's just say rust free red steel framing and steel fenders, a
newly fashioned running board structure and metal rear fenders. All
slightly worn just a bit. Heidts Mustang 2 front suspension and
coil overs for the rear. Front disc and rear drum, headers snaking
to the Flowmaster just like new dual exhaust, exiting out the back
of the car in 3 inch chromed style. Kewl.
Drive-Ability
She fired right up and off to the test track where it definitely
made some noise. Limitless power from the 350 cubes, a great sound
and good solid handling. All functions were working great.
This all rebuilt deuce sedan, crate engine, awesome tastefully
painted and a totally custom interior, will bring a warm glow to
your heart, and a hot rod to drive to the drive-in, as well as a
smile to your face, is priced right. Why waste time wrenching when
you could be driving and smiling! Oh Yeah!.....
