1973 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe- Original 454 CID Auto Yellow-Black
Leather
This well optioned 1973 Corvette has the original (numbers
matching) 454 cubic inch (LS4- total production 14.5%) coupled to
the M40 Turbo Hydra-Magic Automatic Transmission. Options also
include Air Conditioning; Custom Interior Trim (Leather); Power
Windows; Steering and Brakes and Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column.
The family tells us that this one of about five collectible cars
that were purchased many years ago and stored with the interest in
"investing for the long term". This one was purchased as you see
it, basically unrestored (with a repaint in the original color) and
mileage on the odometer showing at 39,302 (the wife can not verify
if it is original mileage). This Corvette has been in storage with
very limited use in recent years and should be looked over by a
qualified mechanic before regular use and driving. No known
problems were known or disclosed by the family (we do know the A/C
is not working and the windshield is cracked). This Corvette
presents as an "original, unrestored Corvette with an older
repaint. Overall, the paint appears to be in good condition with no
obvious signs of previous repairs. The leather on the drivers seat
has noted wear although appears to be original. The frame appears
to be structurally solid with original damage free end caps and
"key holes". The car starts and runs well. With a detailed clean-up
and even a small investment in cosmetics, you could be proud to
take this '73 Corvette to the local car shows. This is a great
opportunity for someone interested in putting some time and
investment in a desirable Big Block, Chrome Bumper C-3 Corvette.
