1969 CHEVY CAMARO NEW "GROUND-UP" RESTORATION
Fresh out of our restoration shop and just completed September 2022
is this absolutely gorgeous 1969 Camaro. The extensive "Ground-Up"
restoration began with a very nice running and driving car that we
purchased from a close personal friend of ours who mechanically
went thru the car so he and his young family could have a safe and
reliable ride. The car had a good look from 10 feet away but was in
need of body repairs and paint, so we gave it the love it deserved
CHECK IT OUT!
We stripped the car to bare bones removing the complete interior,
chrome, trim, weather stripping and most of the glass as well as
the hood, decklid and doors. We then sent it off to our metal shop
for new floors, left and right 1/4's and outer wheelhouses using
all new AMD metal. It was fitted, aligned and block sanded multiple
times prior to being professionally painted in 2 stage base/clear
in "Hugger Orange" paint that was then cut, buffed and polished
slick and smooth. It has a deep luster and brilliant show car
shine! We then re-assembled the car using all new chrome, trim and
weatherstripping too. The black bucket seat with factory console
interior was re-installed using new sound deadener and new carpet
and we also replaced the instrument cluster with a new Dakota
Digital "RXT" gauge package. It is all Very-Very Nice! Power comes
from what we were told is a recently rebuilt 383 c.i. smallblock
engine. It runs super strong and sounds just plain nasty. It is
backed up by a tight shifting Munci 4 speed transmission with a new
clutch assembly and flywheel and a new Hurst Super Competition Plus
shifter all connected to a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73
gears. Other features include, power steering, power disc brakes
(front only) MSD ignition, new ceramic coated headers with new
custom 3" dual exhaust, new 18" US MAG "RAMBLER"U121 wheels wrapped
in new Michelin low-profile high-performance tires and a new
Blue-tooth stereo with new kick panel speakers and lots-lots more!
This is a very-very nice car that has an extremely straight, solid
and clean body with new floors and a detailed trunk and
undercarriage all of which shows off its brand-new show quality
paint but best of all it runs, rides and drives super nice and
super tight with an awesome sounding bad-ass engine. NO
DISAPPOPINTMENTS!
