Vehicle Description
Zoom Classic Car presents this beautiful 1936 Ford 5 Window Rumble
Seat Coupe. Mostly original car with replacement Flathead V8. Owner
has retained the original engine and it will go with the car. 6
Volt. There's just something special about Ford's styling from the
mid-1930s. Ford cars were not only reliable, but their sculptured
lines also rivaled many coach-built cars of the day. This 5-window
coupe is a great example of just how exquisite a Ford could be with
its well-balanced design and excellent reliability. This example is
well-preserved in stock configuration. This is a Ford that has
never been rusted or abused in any way. Beautiful Bambolino Blue
paint, code M1753, in overall excellent condition. It's also a
nicely optioned Ford coupe with running lamps and dual mirrors. The
interior is finished in tan cloth with comfortable bench seating,
and rear passengers are treated to a memory from the past with a
rumble seat. Power comes from Ford's tried-and-proven 221ci
Flathead V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission. The engine
compartment of this 1936 Ford is nicely detailed with correct
colors and properly sorted components. This Ford rides on wide
whitewall tires with Ford's pressed-steel rims with 12" hubcaps.
New brakes installed recently. The charming styling of Ford's cars
for 1936 has always been a favorite of hot-rodders, and perhaps
that's what makes this one so special. Untouched by any
modifications, this 5-window coupe is a car that looks great from
any angle and also offers the excellent reliability for which
Ford's V8 was known. Come with unpainted spare tire hard cover. Car
is stored in Maine with clean transferable registration. Call Jeff
for more information. Thanks for looking.
