This 1966 Chevrolet Suburban Resto-Mod is powered by a Chevrolet LS
5.3-liter V8 engine mated to a 460LE 4-speed automatic transmission
with a heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end with 3.42 gears. The exterior is
finished in Gunmetal Gray and black with two doors, the long panels
and wide windows down each flank and a traditional
liftgate/tailgate setup out back. This Suburban also features
modern power steering and Wilwood power front and rear disc brakes.
The big black grille, combined with the chrome bumpers, door
handles and mirrors, enhances the High-Impact Gray and black finish
even more. This car also features LED headlights and LED sequential
taillights. The completely black custom interior features stitched
bucket seat, and a central console, that fit nicely in the front
cabin and were upholstered in two-tone patterns. The back seat was
finished to match, and side panels with integrated cup holders were
made. The ornate door and side panels were upholstered to match the
theme as well. Inside the dash, also painted to match the truck's
interior, there are a custom LED digital dash, Billet Specialties
controls and a wood-rimmed billet steering wheel. The headliner is
covered in matching black leather and appears high-end. This custom
Suburban rides on a 4-inch drop coupled with a new suspension and
shocks, vintage rims and newer Goodyear tires.
