Vehicle Description
Patina is like a lightning rod for most of us today telling our
minds to "get ready for something special!" and this 1950 Chevrolet
3100 certainly delivers. Because beneath the fashionably worn-in
style is upgraded V8 power, an overdrive transmission, an upgraded
suspension, and a leather-lined A/C interior. So you know this one
was made to be an awesome and distinct cruiser.
This body has the ideal look of patina that you want in a truck. It
took decades for the world to wear down this green, and now it's
locked in thanks to a matte clearcoat. In fact, this real patina
body was given a full professional restoration that was completed
in December 2020, and there have only been about 3,600 miles put on
the truck since then. They retained the weathered pieces of the
body, bumpers, and trim because anyone can get reproductions, but
all that you see here has an earned respect you cannot buy off the
shelf. But it's not a full incognito package. The glossy wood in
the truck bed, blue dot tail lights, and lowered stance signal
larger investments. And while the wheels look like the classic
steelies with dog dish hubcaps, they really are an upgraded set
with a 15/16-inch front/rear stagger for a sporty look on modern
tires.
The interior is clean and attractive. And we particularly like how
it keeps plenty of vintage style but also mixes in modern appeal.
For example, you have a classic bench seat, but it's a fresh update
with nice contouring and finished in supple leather. The door
panels were also done to match. You will be able to enjoy this in
comfort with plush carpeting, a finished headliner, and ice-cold
air conditioning. The dash has a vintage appearance, and as you
look closer, you can see updates like the Dakota Digital gauge
pack, including speedo and tach. And the upgraded Chevy steering
wheel, a tilt column, and a fold-down armrest give you a
comfortable cruiser feeling.
The engine bay has the unmistakable look of upgraded Chevy power.
Polished valve covers, good hoses, newer components, and an overall
tidy style make this quite attractive. The 350 cubic-inch crate V8
has been built for power and overall driving with the Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, TSP intake, aluminum radiator with electric
cooling fan, a Wilwood master cylinder, and dual exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers. As you look underneath, you'll spot a fully
upgraded setup with a TCI tubular control arms front end, TCI rear,
rack & pinion power steering, and front disc brakes. And since
you'll want to take this distinct patina pickup on trips near and
far, there's also a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-ready overdrive.
This is an exceptionally cool patina custom that's unique, sporty,
and all-around comfortable. So don't miss out on something this
distinct. Call today!!!
