Vehicle Description
This 1966 F-100 is stunning thanks to a very extensive cosmetic
restoration. This truck lived in the high desert of California
before it was moved to the high mountain desert near Fairfield,
Idaho. This has a rock-solid body and it runs out well thanks to
some parts from a couple of other donor trucks. Originally the
truck came out of the factory with Spring Time Yellow paint. During
the restoration a period and years correct color combination of
Wimbledon White and Arcadian Blue was chosen. This truck originally
had a V-8, but thanks to the generous donation from another 1966
F100 truck, a 300 inline six now powers this gem. The dash,
instrument cluster, and transmission also came from the donor
truck. The chrome work was done by Salt Lake City Chrome. Carolina
Classic Chrome provided the belt line. For you Ford experts, yes
the tailgate came from a '67. The wheels are powder coated to match
with new Hub Caps. The interior has been fully restored and is as
beautiful and pleasing as it appears in the photos. Contact Shep at
