Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information, and a video. Check out this stunning 1953 Chevy Bel
Air 2-door hardtop with a great color combination and killer
stance.
Under the hood sits a very nicely detailed and mildly built
Chevrolet 235 Inline 6-cylinder engine. It has been topped off with
a finned Offenhauser valve cover and Offenhauser intake with dual
single barrel carburetors. Those carbs feed the upgraded intake to
provide a bit more pep in this Bel Air's step. A finned valve cover
continues the cool classic styling under the hood. Touches of
chrome under the engine will make you proud to show this classic at
your local car show. The engine codes date to 1953, so this very
well could be the original engine! That engine is paired with a
3-speed manual, which is exactly how you remember it in 1953! It
retains the factory 6-volt system with generator, in keeping with
the stock nature of the car.
This is a true 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air painted with Black and White
high gloss paint, paired with chrome dog dish wheels and wide white
walls tires that makes this a head turner! The interior is all
original and still retains the thick plastic seat covers keeping
the upholstery in great shape.
This Bel Air has been part of a private collection for years, and
has been garage kept. This car is kept almost completely original
aside from the small engine upgrades. It is getting harder and
harder to find original, stock Bel Airs as so many have become
restomods, show cars, lowriders, and gassers. Finding a solid,
complete, running and driving stock example of a REAL 1953
Chevrolet Bel Air is getting tough to do. So, we are very proud to
offer this car for sale to a sure to be proud new owner. It has a
clean and clear Florida title and cruises out very nicely!
