Gorgeous and RARE - 1966 Mercury Comet-Cyclone convertible in
excellent running & driving condition now available and ready for a
new home!
This Comet-Cyclone is 1 of only 1305 units built in 1966 - a true
survivor car in original condition with the exception of a repaint
during prior ownership.
Overall, this Mercury is super solid and retains it's original
sheet metal, wearing the original color code ""F"", Tiffany Blue
paint.
This rare convertible is powered by a ""C"" code 289 cubic inch V8,
""Dual Mode"" C4 automatic transmission, and 8"" rear axle spinning
stock 2.80 gears.
Inside you will find the bucket seat interior as it came from the
factory in it's correct trim code ""H2"", blue and white. The
convertible power top is in great condition and easily put up or
down with the flip of a switch located on the dash.
Trim tag codes include ""76H"" which generally refers to the ""GT""
package and appears to retain it's original door trim tag.
Options include: Power steering, power brakes, power windows,
bucket seats, center console, power top, and very rare factory dash
mounted tachometer.
This piece of muscle car history drives extremely well - drive it
locally or across the country with confidence.
