some of the most desirable performance metal ever to leave Detroit.
This classy classic Chevelle was one of those bad boy muscle
machines produced in 1969, and like fine wine, this one has only
gotten better with age. Time marches on, and so does technology.
This classic Chevelle has been pulled out of the 20th Century and
into the 21st courtesy of an all aluminum Chevrolet LS V-8 and a
Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. If the engineers of the 60's
were alive today, this is THE driveline they would have selected to
go in at the factory. Nothing is more fun to drive than a classic
A-body with a modern fuel injected engine and a god's honest
6-speed manual do it yourself transmission! Not leaving well enough
alone, this Chevelle also received a powder coated frame, modern
rack and pinion steering, coil over adjustable shocks, polyurethane
bushings in the suspension, a rock solid 12-bolt axle, and 4 wheel
power disc brakes(that was Corvette only stuff in 69'). Keeping
with the clean and modern mechanicals, the aesthetics of this big
boy brute in a tux were cleaned up with a shaved firewall, painted
side stripes, a gorgeous powered cloth convertible top with glass
rear window, and modern 18 American Racing wheels wrapped in sticky
modern radials. All this was bathed in a coat of Tuxedo black
basecoat/clearcoat paint that has a shine a mile deep. They say
beauty shouldn't just be on the outside, so this Chevelle was made
to be just as beautiful inside. A fresh TSI White vinyl interior
with bucket seats was installed, along with modern Dakota Digital
gauges, Autosound Stereo with Bluetooth, and a center console with
a compartment to hide all the speeding tickets in. This Chevelle is
the product of a multi year body off restoration that left no nut,
