Vehicle Description
Well, this really is a striking Corvette. Finished with bright red
paint and featuring a manual transmission, what isn't there to like
about this 1981 Chevrolet Corvette? In 1981, featuring the new
aerodynamic front-end styling that was prominently introduced the
previous year, the Corvette was offered with the 350 C.I. V8 as the
base powerplant. 1981 was also the very last year that a C3 was
offered with a manual transmission, and this car is one of those
Corvettes! However, there's been a couple performance upgrades to
this C3 that really set it apart from the pack. Powered by a
Chevrolet Performance crate 350 C.I. V8 with an Edelbrock 4-Barrel
Carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock headers +
valve covers, this is one C3 that will move unlike any other. Power
from that 350 C.I. V8 gets to the rear end through a
smooth-shifting 4-speed manual transmission, providing fast and
immediate torque. The red paint on this 'Vette shines beautifully
laid out over a body so straight it would put a ruler to shame, and
the T-Tops only add to the aggressive stance of this car. The tan
interior bucket seats are very comfortable, ensuring that this C3
taken be taken for long drives without any need to worry about
becoming uncomfortable. Options on this Corvette include power
steering, power brakes, 4-wheel disc brakes, T-Tops, a center
console, air conditioning, an updated Pioneer stereo unit, interior
courtesy lights, factory gauges, power windows, power locks, remote
mirrors, and a nice-sounding dual exhaust system. The C3 in
question rides on some shiny factory-style rally wheels on top of
some BF Goodrich RWL tires. This C3 sure is one car that looks
great and drives even better, and having a manual transmission with
the deal only adds to the fun-factor of this car! If you're looking
for some '80s performance, then we've got some right here.
