Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Speaking of celebrations,
Chevrolet's Corvette is about to celebrate its 70th (!) year as
America's premier sports car. Through 8 distinct generations the
Corvette has continually raised the bar of expectations for
performance, styling, and comfort. One of the 'Vette's greatest
advances came with the introduction of the stunning C2 Sting Ray in
1963. By the time this sweet 1966 coupe came along, the Corvette
had become a world-class sports car with features like a fully
independent suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, and a variety of
powerful engines. This classic 1966 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe
beautifully illustrates why Bill Mitchell and Larry Shinoda's
styling is widely regarded as one of the most significant post-war
American designs. Beneath the hood you'll find the numbers matching
(BCN 3858174, EC F0209HE, VD 6113094) 327/300hp V8, one of the
all-time great engines. Additional features include correct Rally
Red (974) paint and red leather trim (408), Muncie 4-speed manual
transmission, 3.36 Posi rear end, an AM/FM radio, and new Firestone
Wide Oval Redline tires (F70-15) on 15 steel wheels with correct
covers. The older lacquer paint, purchased as original, is showing
extensive crazing. I may be biased, but honestly, aren't a C2's
bumpers the most beautiful ever designed? They literally don't make
'em like that anymore! If this stunning milestone in automotive
styling floats your boat, call the team that can make your dream a
reality. Street Dreams is a full service dealership that can assist
with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
