Vehicle Description
1976 Oldsmobile Delta 88 - 350ci V8 - Automatic Transmission - 106k
Miles - Maroon Over White Interior As part of GM's B-Body platform,
the seventh-generation Olds 88 was part of a group of larger GM
cars. Cushy bench seats, soft suspension, large V8 engines, and
metallic paint colors are just a few of the memorable options of
the era's luxury vehicle options. Floating down the road to your
job as an executive in a big car like this was a dream of many at
the time. Featured here is a very well-preserved example from a
time when big cushy sedans cruised the streets. This 1976
Oldsmobile Delta 88 two-door sedan is a very nice car. The
red-orange paint presents as original since it has been well
maintained and preserved. Likewise, the white vinyl top is in very
good condition with little if any fading. The bumper chrome and
related stainless trim have been well preserved shining with a nice
luster and showing only light patina. This car has no doubt been
well cared for and kept out of the elements. Underneath, the
underbody is original and appears well kept. Under the hood is a
350 V8 backed by a 400THM 3 speed automatic. The engine compartment
presents as original and supports the theme this car has been well
cared for since it left the dealership 46 years ago. Options
include power brakes, power steering, cruise control, and air
conditioning. The cabin of this Oldsmobile is spacious. The
interior is all original and the white vinyl upholstery is clean,
showing only some light wear with no rips or tears. Carpet is
likewise clean with only some typical wear on the driver's side.
The dash features simulated wood trim, and the factory Delco AM/FM
radio is still present. The trunk compartment is cavernous and
still has the factory floor liners, spare tire cover, and factory
jack equipment. This classic Oldsmobile is a great vehicle. It
presents well, runs amazing, and drives down the road like a dream.
At nearly 50 years old we would hate to suggest this car be used
for daily driving, but with the price point this car is at, it
could be considered a better deal and in better condition than most
used cars offered on the market right now for that money. Wherever
you go in this fine Oldsmobile, folks will be sure to comment on
this well-preserved classic. Please call if interested or e-mail
with specific questions. Thank you for looking.
