leatherette upholstery. The paintwork is in remarkable condition
and presents very well with original glass and integrated fog
lights with a factory whale tail spoiler. The upholstery is all
original and features ice-cold air conditioning, Pioneer AM/FM CD
stereo system, and VDO instrumentation. The original Fuch alloy
wheels are fitted to Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2, 205 55 R16
fronts, and 225 50 R16 rear tires and the undercarriage is solid
and rust-free.
According to the warranty & maintenance booklet, this Carrera Targa
was first delivered on June 10, 1988, to Legend Volkswagen Autorama
LTD in Amityville, New York. The dealer and independent services
are recorded from the purchase date and display a linear
progression of mileage until 1996 with 53,205 miles. On August 28,
1999, this 911 was sold by Aurora Classic Coaches in Seattle,
Washington for $26,382.75 to Mrs. Sanders. At 97,068 miles, on
September 2, 2010, Al's Auto was commissioned to perform the
following maintenance which included a new clutch, pressure plate,
pilot bearing with new seals, four new shocks, both axles were
replaced, the A/C was checked, and charged, and a full engine
tune-up was done.
