Vehicle Description
This 1984 Chevrolet K10 4x4 has an all-black style and a mean 4x4
stance to give it the right mix of style and substance. And while
it already has the features you really want - including V8 power
and an overdrive transmission - the price leaves room in your
budget for any upgrades you're thinking about.
This Chevy makes a nice first impression. It was a factory black
pickup, but the shine it has today lets you know it has been
updated to stay looking good. It's a finish that's attractive but
not perfect, and if you have plans to use this as a real 4x4, then
this appearance is ideal. After all, it's fun to roll through town
and watch people look up to you (literally) in something
attractive, but you also don't want to cry every time you hear a
twig meet the rockers. Nice chrome bumpers, useful side steps, and
in-demand short bed style come together for a nice square-body
Chevy. And the full liner paint in the bed and locking diamond
plate toolbox make this useful for far more than just its cool 4x4
prowess.
The black presentation continues inside. There have been good
investments here to have a clean and functional pickup. For
example, the front seat has been upgraded where you have the usual
three-across bench if you need it, but the fold-down center console
makes for individual bucket-like comfort the rest of the time. A
rugged rubber floor cover, soft dash cover, and clean door panels
make this both useful and inviting. There are nice features like
power windows, power locks, sliding rear glass, and cup holders.
There are also provisions for desirable amenities like an upgraded
stereo and air conditioning (they will likely need servicing to
function again.) Plus, the upgraded steering wheel and tilt column
give you a commanding driving position in this lifted Chevy.
Under the hood a year-correct 305 cubic inch V8 with a four-barrel
carburetor on top. It fires up nicely and drives out well for a
lifted pickup. There's a true go-anywhere feeling with a two-speed
4x4 transfer case, approx. six-inch lift, Rough Country shocks, and
BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As. But go-anywhere also means being
comfortable on the pavement. That's why you have power steering,
power brakes, and front discs up front. Factory dual tanks are
present, but only the drivers is present and a 700R4 four-speed
automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
This is the all-black and beefy Silverado 4x4 that's fun for today
and has a tone of potential for tomorrow (KC lights anyone?) So if
you love an intimidatingly attractive square-body 4x4, call
today!
