Vehicle Description
Bought this 1971 Chevy Corvette LT1 in 2019 and have been using it
in my collection since a few times a week. This Corvette is a great
driving and looking car. It is a LT1 330hp 350 v8. It is a matching
numbers car. It runs amazing and with the LT1 it is a peppy fun
drive. The 4 speed manual trans shifts all gears like it should. I
have personally driven it on many 4 hour trips and consistently on
30 miles trips from my house to my office. I was told it is a 2
owner car before I got it out of colorado originally then south
dakota and Wisconsin. I have the original window sticker, bill of
sale from new, receipts from the owners of all of the maintenance
done through out its life. Really a nice documented car. The gauges
are working but the RPM gauge comes and goes ( I am assuming a
connection in the wire somewhere.) The headlights open and shut but
the driver side light goes up slow until you rev the engine and
shuts slow after you turn the car off (takes about a minute). The
wipers work like they should and the radio works great. The tires
look good. The underside of the car looks clean and the paint looks
really good. It is the original blue color. When I first got it in
2019, the paint was faded a bit in spots so I had it repainted.
There are some minor chipping spots from driving it but nothing to
crazy etc. I pictured the car well and videoed it well so you can
see the minor spots. The chrome looks decent and presentable. The
interior is original and survivor /daily driver quality. The dash
looks great. The car has AC but it did not work since I had it,
probably needs a charge of freon. The heat fan sontrols work but
were a bit sticky. The T tops go on and off the car the way they
should. I saw the passenger side rear latch for the t top is loose
a bit. still latches but the spring inside is starting to wear etc.
The rear window comes out and installs easy. The glass is good on
the car and the windows roll up and down like they should. It is a
clean title.
