Zoom Classic Cars presents this beautiful 1946 Ford Super Deluxe
Two door Sedan in excellent condition. Inline Flathead 226CI/90HP
6-cylinder engine coupled with a 3 on the tree manual transmission.
While the V8 Flathead may be sexier, the flat-head 6 had only 10 HP
less, generally ran smoother, and was never prone to overheating
like the V8s - and they weighed less. They also had four main
bearings instead of the V8's three mains. Present owner has
completed a list of upgrades and has the receipts to document the
work. All this work on the car has been done by Hibernia
Restorations of New Jersey. Restoration of the car included the
rebuilt Flathead with new head gasket, rebuilt carb, water pump,
radiator, hoses, belt, fuel filter and rebuilt starter. New brakes
all around including lines, drums, shoes, etc. A brand new 6-volt
wiring system, new battery, bulbs and regulator. Car has been
completely re-wired. Recent Tune-up including plugs, points, cap,
wires, rotor and condenser. Brand new gas tank. The black paint is
in overall excellent condition and all the chrome, trim and badging
is intact and looks great. Interior of the car is very clean and
features gray cloth seating, beautiful dash with chrome accents and
clock. Very clean trunk compartment with full spare and vinyl
liner. Under carriage is also very clean with solid frame and no
evidence of rust. Car starts, shifts and runs smoothly. This is an
elegant, classy Ford and meant for those who appreciate the unique
style and fantastic condition. Owner has other classics and spares
no expense maintaining them properly. Always garage kept and
pampered. Call Mike for a showing or for more information:
