Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Coupe
complete with its original numbers matching engine. The 1970 350ci
LT1 was rated at a stout but conservative 370 horsepower and 380
lb-ft of torque and is one of the most powerful and sought-after of
all small blocks. The stoutness continues with a 4-speed manual
transmission (the only available option with the LT1) and a 4.11
Positraction rear. The car was treated to a complete body-off
restoration in 2002 and recognized with a Gold Spinner Award by
Chevy Vettefest. Restoration photos are included along with the
original Owner's Manual and the original Corvette Order Copy. The
car is clothed in its original color Monza Red exterior paint with
a beautiful black interior. The LT1 package also includes a
big-block hood and suspension plus a 6500 rpm redline tach. This
superb example has the optional power steering, power brakes, and
AM/FM stereo radio. White line Goodyear Speedway F70-15 tires on
the Corvette Rally wheels emphasize the heritage of this Vette, but
it also comes with a complete set of aluminum split 5-spoke wheels
and radial tires. One of just 1287 LT1s produced in a
strike-shortened model year, this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT1
represents one of the true highlights in Corvette performance
history. See details and photos at www.maxmotive.com. **********
