1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Convertible Street Rod finished in Blue
paint. Powered by the 350 V8 under the hood that is paired up with
a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. Headlights/tail
lights have been frenched in and the front grille has been
color-keyed to match the car. Riding on the BOSS 5-spoke chrome
wheels with front disc brakes. Door handles have been shaved and
are now actuated with door poppers via key fob. Equipped with power
steering, power brakes, aluminum radiator, electric fan, vintage
A/C, serpentine belt system, HEI ignition, tilt and telescopic
wheel, power windows, Heights Mustang II front end, and a
Thunderbird rear independent suspension. NOTE; POWER WINDOWS:
Passenger side window went all the way up, the 3 other windows did
not complete a full up and down cycle. Custom tan and blue bucket
seat interior with center console and automatic on the floor.
Kenwood LCD display stereo mounted in the console which is also
setup with a backup camera. The latch on the glove box is too short
so it doesn't stay shut. Aftermarket VDO gauges set up nicely in
the dash including tachometer, water temp, oil pressure,
speedometer, volts, and fuel gauge. Located under the passenger's
front fender is the battery as well as a dead man's switch. Items
that will go with this include: paint, 3-ring binders full of build
information, cruise control setup, weathertstripping, extra fabric,
and other misc odds and ends. Trunk handle is shaved also and is
now power operated via a switch on the center console.. Cable pull
to open the driver's door is tucked under the driver's front
fender; also a button in the gas fill to pop the door as well.
Power convertible top is tan vinyl with glass rear window, fits
well and is in nice shape. The windshield rake is a different angle
for a reason, the power top mechanism is out of a 1991 Chevrolet
Cavalier. Nice sounding Street Rod!
