Vehicle Description
The Dodge Challenger! From 1970 through 1974, the first generation
dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E platform
in both hardtop and convertible body styles sharing major
components with the Barracuda. Both the Barracuda and Challenger
were poised to compete against the Mercury Cougar/ Ford Mustang and
Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird. The Challenger was built to be
Chryslers most potent pony car ever. It was built with a staggering
number of trim and option levels along with engine and transmission
options. This particular very nice "Driver Quality", in fact a very
Strong "Driver Quality" Challenger that was a 383 engine car that
has been transplanted with a period correct 440 Cubic Inch car
fitted with a automatic transmission and fender tag that came with
the car. The car was re-painted in its correct color of yellow
jacket yellow. The owner did add the black vinyl roof as it did not
have one originally. Vintageair/Air Conditioning was added and
works perfectly. All the lights and gauges work as well. The paint,
interior and exterior like I said are in really nice shape. Not
perfect, but really good. The car starts, runs and goes down the
road very nicely with no issues, no squeaks, no clunks and shifts
as it should. The wheels and tires are also nice. There are very
few miles on this car since the restoration. This car deserves a
second look or inspection if you are looking. All inquires and
questions are welcomed.
