This # matching, Pontiac Historical documented Trans Am has been
given a highly detailed restoration. It was a California car; the
body was off frame and every last bolt was restored. Only 3,198
Trans Ams were built total in 1970. They were given very high
reviews for its looks and handling.
EXTERIOR: California car with an excellent body. The fit and finish

paint has a glass finish. The only flaws I could find were a few
hair line cracks in the paint on the rubber bumper. It has correct

door. The grills, bezels, trim are excellent. Weatherstrips and
seals were replaced. Crystal clear glass. Correctly restored rally
ll wheels with correct lug nuts and no trim rings.

matching Ram Air lll 400-335 hp motor with correct components.
Rebuilt by Kinetic Racing Engines. It features a restored a/c
system, power steering and brakes. All the painted finishes are
smooth and tidy. It's correct down to dated plug wires, spring
clamp battery cables, cadmium plated booster, heat riser tube etc.
Show quality.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Pristine metal with a neatly applied spatter
finish. Under the trunk lid and jamb are glossy. It has a
collapsible spare and a restored jack assembly. Excellent
weatherstrip, wiring, light housings etc.
UNDERSIDE: Complete body off frame restoration to new condition.
Wow is it detailed! Very fresh looking. The entire suspension and
steering was rebuilt and detailed. The brake system was completely
restored. It has disc in front, the e-brake assembly is hooked up.
Custom stainless exhaust with x-pipe and polished tips. All new
fuel system. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, it has a high
torque starter. Matching # Turbo 400 automatic looks new. Rebuilt
driveshaft and restored 12 bolt rear end. The floors are pristine
and painted semi-gloss black. Every nut, bolt and clip is
restored.
In addition to the PHS documents it will also include original
warranty card, restoration receipts and a parking ticket. It was
given a parking violation in 1999 at the Walt Disney studio lot!
This is one of the better 1970 Trans Ams in existence. It's an
amazing car to drive and enjoy. Knowing it's a solid investment is
the cherry on top.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
