1950 Ford Custom RestoMod Convertible
Located near PORTLAND, OREGON.
This spectacular Ford was acquired in 2000 by the current owner in dry, solid, original condition; having been stored in Oregon since the 1960's. The current owner spent 13 years performing a painstaking concours-quality show restoration with subtle modern performance upgrades, including:
• Fatman front frame clip with:
• Mustang II Suspension.
• Power Steering.
• Tubular A Arms.
• Front Disc Brakes.
Engine was upgraded to a SBC 350/330 Horsepower Performance V8
with 380 ft.lbs of torque. 9.1:1 compression ratio. Polished billet valve covers and air cleaner.

• 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission.
• 8" Ford rear end with drum brakes.
• Suspension slightly lowered.
• 15" Vintique original style wheels wrapped with Diamondback/Toyo radial wide whitewall tires.

Body was stripped to bare metal. Painted in deep gloss black (Twice - owner was not satisfied with first paint job!)
The results are stunning. Laser-straight body with exceptional panel fit and finish. Black is probably the most unforgiving color and reveals all flaws. The finish of this car is flawless. All chrome re-plated and trim polished to show quality.
Interior was fully reupholstered in red leather, with red carpet. Gorgeous quality and finish.

When completed in 2013, this car was premiered at the 57th annual Portland Roadster Show where it was judged and received awards for Best in Class Custom Convertible and the 2013 Best Custom Interior from the International Show Car Association (ISCA.)
Continual upgrades have been made over the years and the car has continued to receive awards wherever shown. At the 2019 63rd Annual Portland Roadster Show this car again received a Best In Class Award as Best Custom Convertible, verfiying its outstanding condition.
The odometer now shows a total of less than 125 miles since completion of the restoration. It is ready to garner more awards or provide thousands of miles of comfortable touring in style.
The only reason for selling is to make room in the garage for the next project.
