OBO - I'll take any offer seriously, even if we're leagues apart. I just got married, and I'm going off to grad school, so I need to sell the car.
This Spider has been in my family since it had 10,000 miles on it. My father maintained it impeccably, and I continued the tradition after he passed away. It's a sentimental car, so I'm more concerned with finding it a good home than making a fortune from it.
It's in beautiful shape, mechanically and cosmetically, and drives just like a Spider should.
Issues-
Odometer broke, ~5k short of actual mileage, best guess.
Clutch actuating cylinder boot needs replacing in the very near future. Quick job, and I have the parts. If you'd like, I can add in a new actuating cylinder, no cost.
Vacuum sensor on ECU is beginning to leak. The car is still perfectly driveable, but has a whine at idle (imagine the sound of electrical noise)
Digital clock doesn't work - this one is a mystery to me.
The fabric of the soft top needs repair, and the rear window needs replacing. Mechanically, it's sound. I'm also including the factory hardtop in the sale, again, no additional cost.
And that's it for issues. I had it on a lift a few months ago to replace a fuel line, and everything checked out save for the boot mentioned above. I've also installed nylock nuts on the downpipe studs to prevent the persistent downpipe dropping some of these cars have.
Comes with original owner's manual, window sticker, factory toolkit (including screw jack) and spare tire.
