Vehicle Description
This 1983 Monte Carlo SS is a stunner that has had a complete frame
off restoration. It was painted back to the original Dark Metallic
Blue with the blue and white factory bench seat. The powertrain has
been swapped to the ever popular 383 stroker bolted to a TH350
transmission transferred back to a rear end that has 3.42 gears
that get the tires spinning. Boss Motorsports wheels are covered
with Cooper tires hug it to the road. The Heartbeat stopping 383
makes 450 horsepower and 500 ft. lbs of torque. Drive this one out

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1983 Chevrolet Monte
Carlo SS for purchase. The Monte Carlo ran as a 2-door coupe for
Chevrolet for six generations from 1970 to 2007. With the body
style coming off of NASCAR success, production picked up for the
body style with gaining popularity for the SS trim level. In the
1980's, harsh limitations on emissions leftover from the late 70's
left the car-buying public starving for power and Chevy took
advantage with the Monte Carlo SS.
