Description:

This Backdraft Racing RT3 Roadster is a Cobra replica that was built in 2017 and was acquired by the selling dealer in July 2022. Finished in Monterey Red with Pearl White stripes over diamond-stitched Dove leather upholstery, the car is powered by a Roush 427ci V8 mated to a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes 18? Halibrand-style knock-off wheels, power-assisted steering, disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, Holley Sniper fuel injection, a single chrome roll hoop, and quick-jack bumperettes. This Cobra replica is now offered with a Florida title listing the car as a 1965 TRTE.

Interior:

The cockpit features low-back bucket seats upholstered in Dove leather with cross-diamond inserts that extend to the center console and door panels. Equipment includes four-point racing harnesses, translucent sun visors, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, a push-button ignition switch, Backdraft-embroidered floor mats, and an electrical cut-off switch.

Exterior:

The body is finished in Monterey Red with Pearl White stripes, and paint protection film is installed on the rear fenders. Features include a hood scoop, Ford 427 emblems mounted above the fender vents, a Raydot-style side mirror, windshield wipers, wind wings, a single chrome roll hoop for the driver, quick-jack brackets, ceramic-coated side-exit exhaust pipes, and a LeMans-style fuel filler cap.

Drivetrain:

The Roush 427ci V8 was installed by Speed Fanatix of Boca Raton, Florida, and features Holley Sniper fuel injection, a Roush-branded air cleaner housing and valve covers, and ceramic-coated exhaust headers. Dyno test results from January 2021 are provided in the gallery below and show peak outputs of 458 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, Essentially 550 crank hp.
