This is a 1997 Jaguar XK8 Convertible. I am trying to get a Dealer’s License to sell some of my collection as I have some health issues now, but this car is currently registered in my name so there should be no sales taxes required to be paid by the new owner. I have had this car for almost two years. The car was garaged in L.A. for over a year.
I bought this Garnet Red Convertible from the previous owner who touted his excellent restoration work. I paid twice the price I am offering it for sale now. The car is original with the exception of a professionally installed JVC Bluetooth Radio.
Factory equipment on this XK8 includes a power-operated soft top, Connolly leather interior, walnut wood trim. Introduced in 1997 the XK8 replaced the XJ series and featured updated styling along with a more powerful "AJ" V8 engine. Power from a 4.0-liter V8 engine, which produces 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque propels this beauty. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
This model is often compared to the Aston Martin DB7, as both cars shared the same platform. The XK8 continued Jaguar's long lineage of stylish grand tourers. A partial list of notable equipment is shown below:
You will be proud to own this head turning vehicle.
