Vehicle Description
This German-made 1967 Type II 21-Window custom microbus Re-creation
underwent a professional, ground-up restoration and has been
upgraded to a 21-window configuration along with other performance
upgrades and customizations. 1967 was the last year of the
German-made buses before production shifted to Brazil. Power comes
from a new Powerhaus 2332cc 4-cylinder Turnkey engine. The engine
is fed with dual Weber carburetors, has an external oil cooler fan
kit and breathes through an A1 black ceramic-coated exhaust system.
The engine is paired with a new Freeway Flyer 4-speed manual
transmission. This custom bus rides on 17-inch, polished billet
Colorado Custom wheels wrapped in Michelin tires. The front
suspension consists of tubular control arms with coilovers. Out
back is a complete Red 9 Design EZ Rider twin wishbone and coilover
independent rear suspension assembly. Other performance upgrades
include rack & pinion steering and 4-wheel disc brakes. The
exterior is professionally sprayed in two-tone orange and white
with safari front windows. The custom diamond-stitched tan leather
interior features a brushed aluminum steering column topped with a
wood and billet steering wheel and a custom stereo system with
speakers mounted under the rear seat. All trim and bumpers are new,
as is the canvas roll-back roof. It has an upgraded wiring harness,
a new fuel tank and a custom access door to the engine compartment.
The restoration included all new sheet metal panels including the
front nose, floors and supports. All receipts are included in the
sale. **TITLED AS A 1967 VOLKSWAGON 21 WINDOW DELUX**
