Vehicle Description

A real sweetheart! This car is so straight, it functions so smooth. It's full of accessories and good looks. Real V8 Bel Air hardtop.

EXTERIOR: Absolutely laser straight body. It fits flush and square, no rust. The paint is a mirror, its stunning. There are some flaws if you are looking for them. It's decked out with optional trim- bumper guards, rocker moldings with stone shields, fuel door trim, exhaust tips, mirrors, and door handle guards. Painted fender skirts are included. The chrome and trim are shiny and straight. Weatherstrips were replaced, new windshield, reproduction T-3headlights. BFG radial white walls look great, hubcaps are clean.

INTERIOR: I love the colors against the black! Correct reproduction upholstery and door panels. Correct tight loop red carpet with matching mats. Replaced headliner with the chrome strips. Dash area is mint. The metal is glossy black. The instruments, heater controls, knobs and trim are excellent. Reproduction steering wheel with a smaller diameter. Options include clock, wonderbar radio, vanity mirror and tissue dispenser. Glovebox and dome lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Restored and detailed to factory specs. Correct, decals, hose clamps and even the belt. 265 V-8 Power Pac with 4 barrel carb. Original components- manifolds, carb, air cleaner, valve covers etc. It has optional oil filter and factory power steering. The battery is bolted down properly, it has both horns, wiring was replaced. Upgraded electric wiper system.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Completely restored. Solid metal painted really nice. Weatherstrip and mat were replaced. The rim is restored and has a reproduction whitewall tire. Jack assembly is included.

UNDERSIDE: It appears to be rock solid, clean original metal. It has undercoat on the floors, the frame and chassis is smooth metal. The front end looks like it's been completely rebuilt including the steering and suspension. In back it has upgraded coil over shocks. Dual stainless exhaust with Smithy mufflers. Fuel tank and sending unit we're replaced. The brakes have been redone; brake hoses look recent, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, starter and fuel pump look fresh. It has the correct Powerglide two speed automatic trans, it looks clean. 3.55 gears in the rear end.

Very impressive 55! Doors click shut, motor purrs and she looks amazing!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
