March 1996, the Jaguar XK is a two-door 2+2 grand tourer that was
offered in hatchback, coupe, or convertible body styles. The first
generation was marketed as the XK8, replacing the XJS and was
Jaguar's first 8-cylinder model since the Daimler 250 and
introduced the all-new Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The second generation
of the XK, noted for its aluminum monocoque chassis and
construction, was launched in 2006 for the 2007 model year. The
Jaguar XK is a beautiful blend of classic, coupe lines mixed with
modern touches. The front fascia features the signature oval grille
flanked by teardrop-shaped headlights. From the tail end, the
muscular rear fenders dominate much of the real estate, while the
teardrop design used for the headlights carries over to the
taillights. Slightly physically different from earlier models in
the second generation, the 2012 model included the new optional
Black Pack which replaced exterior chrome accents for matte black
detailing. The 2012 XK comes standard with the latest safety
features including emergency brake assist, electronic brake-force
distribution, tire pressure monitoring system, four-wheel anti-lock
