Vehicle Description
Here's a genuine Wide-Track Pontiac - a 1960 Pontiac Catalina
Convertible, now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom.
With 389 cubic inches of V8 engine, and a 4-speed Hydra-Matic
transmission, the drivetrain was muscular and ahead of its time.
Power steering, power brakes, and a power operated convertible top
add to the luxury feel of this big Pontiac. To ensure max
enjoyment, the car has been fully serviced. It was treated to a
full tune-up with new plugs, wires, points, cap, and rotor; all-new
steering components including tie rod ends, control arms, steering
column rag joint, along with new ball joints. Brake service
included new front drums, all-new shoes, and repacked front wheel
bearings. Three new U-joints were installed on the driveshaft. To
restore that Wide-Track ride, new shocks all-around plus new rear
coil springs were installed. The 1960 Pontiac Catalina Convertible
offers power, ride, and style in a classic full-size package.
Shelltone Ivory exterior paint with a two tone blue interior and
white convertible top completes the look. It comes with 5 new tires
(including spare) and a jack. This fine example is ready for many
more miles of open air Wide-Track enjoyment. See detailed photos at
