For Sale: 1952 Jaguar XK120M/SE in Langeskov, Denmark

Vehicle Description

1952 Jaguar XK120 FHC SE - Matching numbers - Three owners from new

Original, three-owners, matching-numbers, Jaguar XK120 Fixed-Head Coupe Special Equipment model in English Racing Green over a Suede Green leather interior and only 66684 miles on the odometer. The car retains its original 3.4-liter double-overhead-camshaft six-cylinder engine making 180 brake horsepower and a four-speed manual transmission. The car is an original SE (Special Equipment) model with a more powerful engine, wire wheels, dual exhaust system, stiffer torsion bars, and stiffer rear springs.

The car has a well-documented history dating back to 1960, when the car was purchased by Mr. Carston, residing in Minneapolis. Mr. Carston owned the car from 1960 to 1994, but the car was in storage from 1965 until sold to the last registered owner, and the car was shipped to Denmark for a complete restoration with only 64610 original miles on the odometer. The restoration was done in Denmark from 1995 to 2009, commissioned by the same and only Danish owner. A long list of specialized restoration shops specializing in engine restoration, chassis, trim, chroming, instruments, and other restoration-specific aspects of restoring the car is included in the sale. After restoration was completed in 2009, the car was moved to the Danish owner's residence in France, and the car has France registration and (MOT/TUV/Syn).

A complete inspection and service confirm that the car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and can be enjoyed as-is for many years.

Included in the sale: Orignal Maintenance and Service Manual, original tool set, five original wire wheels, copy of US registration from 1966, Bill of Sale to Danish owner from 1995, US title from 1995, list of Danish restoration shops involved in restoring the car, an article in the Danish Jaguar Club magazine featuring the car, France Technical Inspection (MOT/TUV/Syn) and France homologation certificate.
