Vehicle Description
1998 was the last year for the legendary air-cooled 911 Porsches,
and having benefitted from over 55 years of steady development and
refinement, they are recognized as the very best. This example
comes complete with its tools, owner's books, extra keys and a COA
from Porsche showing its factory options included the CD-playing
radio with HiFi sound system, power seat, embossed headrests,
Litronic headlights and the Aluminum & Chrome trim package. Sold
new in Texas before coming to Colorado, the car has only had three
owners and has never been up in the 'rust belt.'
The silver paint and dark gray leather are near-perfect and
evidence a very well-cared-for car. We have servicing records from
the very first one in 1999 through to the present, showing regular
oil changes and maintenance. However, the CarFax reveals damage to
the rear fifteen years ago that was repaired by a Porsche dealer,
but does not mention it was also pushed into the car in front of it
damaging the nose. There were no airbag deployments. We have the
itemized records from the repairs-with all Porsche parts-and prior
to his purchase from that dealer, the current owner had the car
inspected for any lingering evidence of the damage and there was
none. In our shop, we have just had all the underpans off to
thoroughly ice-blast and inspect the entire undercarriage and we
can find no sign that the car was ever hit. But it was, and that's
why it is priced very attractively to compensate.
Have a look at the attached photos and video to see the before and
after of our ice blasting. The results are simply amazing.
