Description:
This 1971 Dodge Challenger is finished in metallic gray over blue
vinyl and is powered by a replacement 383ci V8 paired with a
three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15? wheels,
a black vinyl top, a rear wing, side stripes, rear window louvers,
power-assisted brakes, a Hotchkiss rear sway bar, air conditioning,
Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, a shaker hood scoop, and a
push-button radio.
Interior:
The cabin features high-back front bucket seats trimmed in blue
vinyl as well as woodgrain trim on the center console, doors, and
dashboard. Amenities include air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and
R/T-branded floor mats. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering
wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock,
and auxiliary gauges. An aftermarket digital tachometer and a trio
of aftermarket gauges have also been installed. The five-digit
odometer has rolled over and shows 9k miles. Total mileage is
unknown.
Exterior:
Originally painted blue, the car was refinished in metallic gray
under previous ownership. Features include a black vinyl top, black
side stripes, rear window louvers, a shaker hood scoop, and dual
exhaust outlets. Painted 15? Rallye wheels wear 235/60 BFGoodrich
Radial T/A tires. The car has been lowered and the car is equipped
with power-assisted brakes.
Drivetrain:
The replacement 360ci V8 was reportedly bored to 383ci and fitted
with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads. Additional
equipment includes chrome valve covers and a shaker hood scoop. A
fluid service was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 727 Torqueflite three-speed
automatic transmission.
