Vehicle Description
This 1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado has that vintage 4x4 look you
love with its tall stance, old red, and ideal single cab with short
bed configuration. And as you dig deeper, everything from the
enhanced V8 power to the loaded interior proves that someone has
already made the investments to create your dream square-body
Chevy.
The Apple Red paint is the factory-correct color, but the radiance
it has today comes from an upgrade later in life. Red is a
confident color, and it combines with beefy/boxy body lines and the
tall 4x4 stance to give this truck an authoritative look. There are
some bright features we all love, like the bumpers, trim, and Rally
wheels. And the wraparound silver pinstripe gives a sporty style
and helps to highlight the quality fit of the sheet metal. Being
pretty doesn't make this any less of a practical pickup, but you'll
want to put down a liner to protect the awesome resprayed bed
before it's time for real truck duty. In fact, there's already a
tow hitch so a trailer can do the rear dirty work.
The silver/gray pinstripe was a preview of the interior. We usually
see that on luxury cars, and this Silverado seems to want to play
on that level, too. You have plenty of great features, like power
windows, a tilt steering column, stereo, cruise control, and a
fresh-looking bench seat done in a comfy velour. The factory air
conditioning has even been upgraded to modern R134a refrigerant,
but it will need recharging/servicing to blow cold again. It all
makes for a quite comfortable and complete classic pickup.
Under the hood is proper small block V8 power. This 350 cubic-inch
motor was an update later in life, and so they also added desirable
features like Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock
aluminum intake, and long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust and
Magnaflow mufflers. The four-speed manual transmission gives you
proper control over the power. And the granny first gear is an
ideal pairing with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case when you need
plenty of traction and low-end torque. There are even Bushwacker
shocks and BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/As to help you blaze your own
trail. It's also made to be a comfortable cruiser on the pavement
with features like power steering, power brakes, and front
discs.
This is the kind of Silverado that you've always admired. Tall,
clean, intimidating, premium, and powerful is an awesome mix, so
don't miss your chance. Call today!!!
