This 2008 Ford Shelby GT Mustang Barrett-Jackson Edition
convertible is one of 100 produced, one of only 39 built as a
convertible and, as CSM No. 08SGT2204 (#4 built), it is the lowest
VIN of the 19 automatic convertibles produced. It is powered by a
4.6-liter 3-valve V8 engine producing 319hp and 333 ft/lbs of
torque backed by a 5-speed automatic transmission. Three automotive
icons collaborated to build this limited-production run of Shelby
GT Barrett-Jackson Edition Mustangs for the public: Shelby
American, Ford Motor Company and Barrett-Jackson. An original
two-owner virtually unaltered car, it is equipped with a Ford
Racing handling package with special tuned dampers, unique sway
bars and 3.55:1 ratio rear axle assembly. This black-on-black car
is trimmed with red racing stripes and is also equipped with a
power convertible top, 4-wheel disc brakes, front fog lamps, dual
power mirrors, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks,
power 6-way driver's seat, remote keyless entry, SecuriLock, dual
vanity mirrors and many other convenience items. Additional
features include 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, a Shelby Cobra
roadster hood scoop, LeMans hood and a premium Shaker 1000 audio
system with CD/MP3 and navigation. Also includes Carroll Shelby's
autograph on the glove box and engine bay, along with a car cover.
