This restored 1970 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a
468ci V8 and paired to an SM465 4-speed manual transmission. The
engine uses a high-capacity aluminum 100% TIG welded radiator with
dual electric fans and features a Holley carburetor with fuel
delivered by an Aeroquip fuel line and Edelbrock in-line fuel
filter pulling fuel from a custom-built aluminum fuel cell. The
motor exhales through a set of coated headers. The exhaust is a
polished stainless MagnaFlow system. The transmission was built by
Inland Truck and has 1,100 miles on it. Equipped with a hydraulic
Centerforce Clutch hooked to an NP205 transfer case with all-gear
direct drive components. The rear end is a 1970 GM Corporate
12-bolt 3:73 posi and a Dana 40 up front. Riding on a completely
rebuilt front axle with all new seals, bearings, U-joints and
machined steering knuckles from Reid Racing along with all new
machined steering arms installed and torqued for the new crossover
steering. The front spindles were replaced with machined parts
which allow it to run a larger set of front wheel bearings. From a
remotely mounted power steering reservoir, all braided power
steering hoses to custom tubular cross member with integrated motor
mounts, fully greaseable, heavy-duty suspension. During the
restoration, the frame was media blasted and powder-coated along
with the undercarriage. The paint is a base with a clear finish
with a thoroughly sanded and buffed finish. The interior features a
