This 1967 Chevrolet K10 CST 4x4 nails it with style and substance.
It's a sharp-looking truck with updated big block V8 power, an
overdrive transmission, and an overall attitude that's ready for
work or play.
White is a timeless color, and so it's the ideal way to have a
classic that you'll want to drive in modern times. And you'll
appreciate how this one has the right gloss for a good glow in the
sunshine. There are nice details such as clean headlights, pliable
weather-stripping, good drip rails, and a smooth tailgate. Plus,
the brightwork components like chrome bumpers and full rocker trim
all add to the impressiveness. And nothing beats having real wood
in the truck bed on a classic pickup. While this all looks quite
stock, the VIN and RPO sticker tell the full secrets. This was
actually born a 3/4-ton long bed pickup. So it was quite an extra
duty machine from the factory, but it traded that versatility in
during its restoration/transformation and gained the usefulness of
a short wheelbase 4x4.
One piece that did not change during the restoration is that this
reminded a premium CST trim package. So you get some nice features
inside, like the bucket seats with a jump seat console in-between.
This restoration was all about keeping it vintage but fresh. So
you'll like the look and feel of this sea of blue on the door
panels, carpet, upholstery, steering wheel, and dash. Even the
little things like the dome light and dash lights work. In fact,
the only obvious upgrade you'll spot is the later AM/FM/cassette
stereo, and its knob style looks right in a classic.
Another nice upgrade to this truck is in the engine bay. The 402
cubic inch V8 big block gives you the added muscle you want in a
4x4. In fact, it's upgraded for even more power with a Quadrajet
four-barrel carburetor, a Weiand intake, and long tube headers that
feed the dual exhaust. And those Flowmaster mufflers give you a
proper V8 tune. This one sits a bit higher to let you maximize the
ability of the two-speed transfer case and deep treads on the
General Grabber tires. What you'll also like is that this is a
solid driver that has power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and an upgraded four-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive.
This CST 4x4 is a terrific mix of true ability and classic truck
appeal. It makes for a fun and irresistible Chevy. Call
