Vehicle Description
The TR3 was a huge success for Triumph not only for civilian use
but as a staple in motorsports world with several outright , team
and class victories in races, hill climbs and rallies across Europe
and North America in the late 1950's and 60's. Built between 1955
and 1962 The TR3 was the Companies best seller in the TR range
behind the TR6 and TR7. The TR3 "A" was an updated version starting
in 1957 and featured a new grill, exterior door handles, a lockable
boot and a full tool kit. This very nice TR3 A we are pleased to
offer is a spectacular running and driving car that in the last
couple of years has been mechanically gone through and sorted with
no expense. The car appears to have been restored some time ago
with the paint stills showing very well as does the interior and
newer top and tonneau. The engine bay is tidy free of wet oily
underside as well as free from rot and corrosion. The only rust I
see is some surface rust on a small area of the frame which in the
cases of early English cars is quite rare for "driver" quality
cars. I have the recent mechanical service records available for
anyone that would like to go through them. These TR3's are so much
fun to drive as they are light, nimble, easy handle. I would like
to think that if you are considering a TR3, then this might be
right up your alley. It is 100% ready to be enjoyed and driven.
