Vehicle Description
The third generation of Corvette was built from 1968 through 1982
and undoubtedly went through the toughest growing pains in
Automotive history. Somehow, the Corvette made it out pretty well.
I think that had something to do with it s more than unique styling
for the time. Out of the over 25,000 Corvettes produced for the
final year C3, just over 6,000 would the "Collector Edition" cars
with special Silver Beige paint, unique wheels patterned after the
1967 models and a operable rear glass hatch. This would also be the
first time that a Corvette would sell for over $20,000. This
particular Collector Edition car we are pleased to represent is a
very nicely kept original car that has had a couple cosmetic
updates like newer door cards and from what I can tell carpets.
This car runs, drives, stops and shifts great. It is a A/C, PW,
tilt, power seat and cruise car . The A/C does not blow cold. All
the lights work as they should, the car comes with quite a bit of
service history dating quite a ways back, service manuals and a
hand written maintenance log and some odds and ends. The exterior
is in very good condition with the exception of the hood decal that
has faded and cracked. From what I can tell, all of these decals
are readily available if you wish to replace.
