For Sale: 1963 Pontiac LeMans in Orland Park , Illinois

Vehicle Description

Rare 326 convertible there were a total of 15959 convertibles made in 63. This one has 2 speed transaxle, power steering, power top. The motor has been modified custom pistons made by JE pistons in Huntington Beach CA they are 3.885 bore flat top for 10.5/1 compression the cam is by comp cams with a lift of .477 intake.480 exhaust 63 Pontiac tri power manifold and carbs. The body is straight with no rust or dents, brakes should be adjusted before taking it on the highway. Transaxle was rebuilt 10 years ago by a Pontiac dealer in Green Bay Wisconsin there is still a slight leak in the transaxle.  The motor has less 2000 miles on it since it was rebuilt. There was AC on it when I got it but it never worked correctly and I couldn’t see a need for it on a 63 convertible. The AC caused the motor to run hot especially when the inlet and outlet were both on the passenger side of the a 4 core radiator I took the AC compressor and radiator off and moved the inlet to the driver side to get better flow through the radiator haven’t moved the alternator and I have all of the AC components if someone wants to reinstall them. I’ve had this car for 28 years but it’s time for it to go to someone else who will appreciate it for what it is
