For Sale: 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 in Cookeville, Tennessee
1967 European spec Mercedes Benz 250SL Roadster with removable
hardtop and soft top. Engine runs well and and the body is very
good overall. Original interior is very nice with a cool
patina.
She runs well and can be driven in a parking lot. The brakes are
very weak and the fuel tank is rusty from sitting. Currently the
car is running off of a remote fuel tank. Oil pressure is good,
engine is smooth and quiet. Transmission shifts properly when
moving forward or in reverse. Currently it does not engage park.
That is probably an adjustment.
The original owner's manual and some other factory literature is
included.
The black cloth soft top shows it's age, but it is usable and the
rear window is clear enough.
The left rear quarter panel was replaced under previous ownership.
That owner passed away before he had time to repaint the car. The
rear half of the car is in primer. Overall the body is very good.
There is some rust in the right side trunk floor and small places
here and there but overall a solid car.

If you are looking for a Pagoda on a budget then buy this one. It
would not take too much to make it roadworthy.
If you want an excellent and very original Pagoda in a great color
scheme, then this would be an excellent one to restore.
